At Woodspeen training I studied the anatomy of nails, hands and feet and covered a variety of services which included:
- Providing manicures and pedicures.
- Nail art services, learning and using different methods.
- Nail enhancements and infills.
- Development and maintenance of effectiveness at work.
- Promotion of additional services or products to customers and ensuring responsibility for actions to reduce risks to health and safety.
- Salon reception duties.
Home Maker (2017-05 – 2023-09)
- Performing basic household tasks including cooking, cleaning, errands-running, laundry and home maintenance.
- Planning and cooking meals according to the family's personal preferences, baking and doing activities with the children.
- Maintaining upkeep and minor repairs of the house.
- Organise family belongings accordingly.
- Creating shopping lists, purchasing groceries and other household items.
- Maintaining budgets by developing and overseeing the expenditure.
- Assisting children with homework and recreational activities.
- Giving emotional support to ensure motivation and positive self esteem.
Cleaner at Self Employed (2016-12 – 2017-04)
- Keeping all areas of the home, including toilets to a high standard.
- Washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming and sweeping as appropriate.
- Discussing with clients their individual choices in relation to cleaning.
- Ensuring that all cleaning equipment maintained in an efficient working condition.
Packer at Mibell and Expect distribution (2016-07 – 2016-12)
- Receiving deliveries daily and unpacking boxes.
- Checking contents and labels.
- Repacking of items and applying various tags/labels, wrapping them and sorting.
- Fast paced manual handling activities and team support actions.
- Working on a busy production line
- Having a good eye for detail ensuring all quality products are ready to be dispatched.
- Adhering to health and safety as well as food and hygiene procedures at all times.
Packer at Lime Recruitment (2016-01 – 2016-06)
- Checking production schedule to determine variety and quantity of products to pack.
- Checking the stock in packets and filling in with right quantity.
- Labelled products according to order requirements.
- Checking for damaged or missing items.
- Ensured that the general warehouse area was clean and tidy.
