• Creating original print and graphic designs for a broad range of jersey product, ensuring that all designs are in line with seasonal trends and brand handwriting
• Preparing detailed specification sheets to send to factories
• Liasing with shape designers, production team & technicians to ensure designs are commercially viable
• Preparing and presenting inspiration boards and samples for buyers and internal team

SENIOR PRINT & ACCESSORIES DESIGNER at BANDANA LTD (2019-01 – 2024-12)

Senior print designer at a well established supplier, specialising in repeat and placement prints and graphics for womenswear. Head of accessories design, alongside managing the print department and supplying to some of the high streets top brands. Additional duties to my previous role include:

• Training & managing the assistant print & accessories designer
• Presenting print collections to buying and design teams during seasonal sign off meetings
• Consistently working towards tight critical paths for every product, to ensure a timely launch
• Reviewing sample strike offs and bulk fabrics and providing comments to mills and vendors
• Travelling to the Far East with buyers for development trips, to source new fabrics at mills and to observe our sampling and production at the factories
• Responsible for opening up accounts with new brands and departments covering women's nightwear, daywear, sunshop & accessories

• Working very closely with buyers & designers from multiple high street brands to develop bespoke prints
• Identifying emerging trends, creating moodboards and colour palettes, and translating these into commercial designs
• Interpreting client briefs and creating prints in line with the brands vision and market
• Producing hand drawn and painted artworks to create bespoke prints
• Creating print ready and colour separated artworks, suitable for both screen & digital print
• Ensuring artworks are production ready, including pantones, fabric, and CAD information
• Working closely with suppliers & mills in the Far East on a daily basis
