Lauren Deakin

I have a background working as an illustrator creating repeat patterns for home furnishings to working in a large greetings company as a creative designer on the card team. Here I grew my illustration and hand typography skills. I also have a background as an illustrator in a branding and marketing company where I also developed my skills along side being a graphic designer.

All these skills I then put together working as a freelance for the past 4 years in branding, marketing and illustration. I have worked with some well know brands from Tesco to Aldi, Wilko, Wales Co-operative, Bullies Out and Kingspan to small businesses. As part of what I have done today i am very equip in the following;

• Create digital illustrations for web and print media
• Work with the design team to ensure illustrations meet the project requirements
• Develop concepts and ideas for illustrations
• Ensure illustrations are of a high quality and meet the required standards
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital illustration
