Laurie Milne

I am a concept-led graphic designer and creative technologist exploring visual systems across physical and digital spaces. Based in London, I study Graphic & Media Design at UAL (London College of Communication). My practice is research-driven, translating ideas into considered visual identities across publications, posters, digital platforms, and spatial or interactive touchpoints.

I begin each project with in-depth research, developing playful visual experiments through sketching, collage, and digital iteration, refining outcomes through feedback and contextual mock-ups. I enjoy collaborating at early project stages, using co-design to establish shared direction before visual development begins. Currently open to studio placements, collaborations, and selected freelance projects.

Print Production Assistant at Mount Street Printers (2026-02 – Present)

• Supporting production workflows for high-end print clients across letterpress, foiling, and offset processes.
• Preparing print-ready artwork and liaising with clients on specifications and finishing options.
• Developing hands-on understanding of material properties, print tolerances, and production timelines.

Graphic Design & Publicity at StuCAN Architecture Festival (2025-07 – 2025-11)

• Developed the visual identity and publicity materials for the Entanglement festival programme.
• Produced digital and print assets including posters, social media graphics, and event collateral.
• Coordinated with the organising team to ensure consistent brand communication across all touchpoints.

Exhibition Design & Co-Direction at CMYK '24 UAL Year 1 Exhibition (2024-05 – 2024-06)

• Co-directed the end-of-year exhibition for the Year 1 Graphic & Media Design cohort at LCC.
• Designed spatial layout, wayfinding, and print materials for the physical exhibition environment.
• Managed logistics, team coordination, and installation alongside fellow students.
