Leah Coath

I am 19 years old and I love to read. I enjoy any sort of books and it’s very rare you find me without a book. If not I am baton twirling. I am in the group Merriott Majorettes and I train every friday for competitions across Devon and carnivals across somerset. As a team we come away with loads of trophies and medals but also i have made some pretty big achievements with the team, I have been with them for nearly 12 years.

I have done a lot of work experience in schools.

• Ruishton CofE School for my Year 12 sixth form work experience.
• I was put in the year 3 class to help assist the children and also teacher during their end of year tests.
• Redstart Primary School I worked originally as the Breakfast Club Assistant and then I also took on some After School Club sessions too as a cover for other members of staff.
• also did a few months of volunteering in the year 1 class helping the teacher listen to readers and also again assist the children.

-RugbyTots, I was assistant coach and we taught the children the basic rugby skills to help improve their fine and gross motor skills.

-emery’s newsagent, I worked here for my very first job in the second side of their shop which was previously a preloved baby and toddler clothes shop where I organised shop floor and helped customers get to what they needed ( this side of the shop is now an ice cream parlour)
