I am a highly motivated, dependable individual who has raised 2 children and is now looking to get back to work properly. Before and after I had my children, I had a variety of jobs which taught me many valuable skills such as customer service, time management and team work just to name a few. In recent years I have been working as bank staff at the Spire Alexandra Hospital working in the Sterile Service Department.

I started working at Chimneys Restaurant and Bar in July 1989 as a cleaner when I was 13 years old. As other jobs became available within the workplace, I took on various job roles such as waitressing in the bar at the weekends. Alongside college, I started to work more hours and worked as a kitchen assistant preparing food orders and making sure us as a kitchen delivered excellent food hygiene and made sure to clean to a high standard after service.

Nursery Nurse - Kinder Day Nursery

When I qualified as a Nursery Nurse in September 1993, I went on to work in a Day Nursery called Kinder Day Nursery until July 1996.

Office Staff - Barry Pope Earthmoving Contractors

In August 1996 I worked for Barry Pope Earthmoving Contractors, my office duty was consistent of payroll, VAT, and invoicing. I worked for this company for the next six years and then in July 2002 I left Barry Pope to have my son In August 2002.

Chef, Front of House - The Nursery Restaurant - Bredhurst

This was from April 2007 until November 2010 where I prepared A la carte food and often did the role of front of house too.

I also worked at the Harrow Pub at Lidsing, at the same time, which included preparing snacks.

Funeral Planner (Training) - Sherwood and Hope Funeral Directors

In October 2019 I started working at Sherwood and Hope Funeral Directors and when I was there, I was learning how to become a funeral planner. My role included looking after the deceased and dressing them for chapel visits, arranging music, ordering flowers, and preparing the order of service whilst always communicating with the family. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the company closed, and I could not continue training.

Bank Staff, Sterile Services Department - Spire Alexandra Hospital

In May 2021 I started my current job at the Spire Alexander Hospital as Bank Staff in the Sterile Services Department. My job role included collecting unsterile equipment and instruments from theatre. I was also responsible for checking that all the tools were present and were from the correct operation.

Following this, I ensured they were sterile and re-packed for the next operation. During my time at the Spire Alexandra, I have gained a multitude of new skills which I am keen to apply to other jobs.

Temporary Christmas Assistant - Sainsburys - Hempstead Valley

Whilst maintaining my Bank Staff job, I also worked for Sainsburys at Hempstead Valley as a temporary Christmas assistant. My jobs included checking stock levels on shelves and re-stocking where required and helping customers locate products.
