Lee Chew Kelemen

For the past 5 years, I have undergone a process of experimentation and development of the relationship between Film and Architecture. Three years ago I founded a practice which focused on short films and animations called Studio Maravillas, where I built several sets, sculptural objects and puppets, leading to several stop motion animations.

Having said that, I have missed the architecture world, and with a MArch Part 2 from the Bartlett School of Architecture, I decided to revisit architecture as a career path.

Throughout my academic career I have developed a keen interest in investigating different cultures and a fascination for the nomadic, which led to designing interventions that activate public spaces through questioning ideas of sustainability through decoloniality, a theme that I have explored throughout my studies.
