5 years as deputy manager in Supermarket
I have worked in many different areas of the store from frozen, ambient and warehouse. I started as a colleague in Asda and progressed to section leader in a superstore setting before stepping up to become a deputy manager in a Supermarket.
My main duties were the development of colleagues, hiring, store compliance, business targets, setting up of new modulars, replenishment of stock, dealing with customer enquiries, inventory management, receiving deliveries and offloading and loading of lorries. I attained a forklift licence through Mentor and in my time of working on frozen I kept the department top of the region for availability for over 8 months and was consistently top of the region in the businesses new CAP process.
I've also helped grow the sales in two of the stores I worked in as a manager from £90k a week to £115k a week and at the latest store from £55k a week to £65k a week.
