My role as a hygeine operative included many different roles involving big, heavy machinery. My main role was to dismember this machinery to clean throughout and fit back together again. This was classed as an extremely important role as I had to ensure that I was kept safe at all times and also ensure my colleagues were kept safe whilst dealing with the machinery. I had to ensure that all machinery was cleaned and prepared for the night shift colleagues and had a set limit of 6 hours to do so.

I gained my Food Safety certificate. During my time at KFC restaurant, I achieved mant different skills in the catering industry. I excelled in my position as a kitchen member preparing food, liasing with front of house colleagues and ensuring food was prepared to a perfect standard for customers.
This soon led me to become Head Chef which g ained me more responsibilities including ensuring all food was prepared to the standards set, and ensuring all members of kitchen staff were providing the food on time. This was a fast paced and hectic environment and additionally to cooking and providing food to customers, I also had to perform several other duties that included ensuring the kitchen was kept in clean and hygenic and helping other colleagues with their duties when needed. I was always a friendly member of staff and communicated well with my colleagues and customers alike.
