I am a friendly, caring and responsible medical student at the University of Warwick, with a previous degree in Pharmacy. I am looking for a part-time nannying role where I can provide a safe, supportive and fun environment for a child. I am patient, approachable and reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children, helping with homework and organising fun, age-appropriate activities.
My experience in healthcare has developed my communication skills, sense of responsibility and ability to remain calm and patient in different situations. I would love the opportunity to become a trusted and dependable person within a family while helping a child feel happy, confident and supported.

I worked with children of ages 3-9 in playschemes over school holidays. My job involved looking after children throughout the day and running group activities to keep them entertained. My role allowed me to develop good teamwork and leadership skills, whilst also helping me develop interpersonal skills and good communication.
The job also involved looking after disabled children, ranging from those with severe disabilities to more moderate ones – this required a lot of empathy and patience and I found it very rewarding. I feel the skills I have learnt are important and make me a valuable candidate.
Hospital Volunteer at Hospital (2018-10 – 2019-09)
I was a volunteer on different wards, talking to patients, helping those in reception, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on the wards – I delivered food, empathised with patients, directed people coming into the ward and handled and dealt with patient files as well as any other roles which needed completing. This role was very eye opening, and I learnt a lot from it.
Charity Shop Volunteer at Oxfam (2017-01 – 2018-02)
I was a volunteer at a charity shop where I had numerous roles such as rotating and pricing items, whilst also greeting customers and helping them locate items in the shop. I also took a role encouraging members of the public to donate goods and building loyalty with those who would bring repeat donations. This role has helped develop my interpersonal skills.
