I am looking forward to using my skills to enhance the learning of the children in your school. Throughout my career I have proven myself to be flexible and will easily adapt to the initiatives and schemes of work that you use. I am used to working with other professionals to ensure the smooth running of a classroom.

• Implemented ideas that reflected changes in the Early Years curriculum. I had regular meetings with Early Years staff to make sure we knew what was expected
• Trained staff in Early Years practice
• Ensured children’s progress through regular discussions about children, careful monitoring and data scrutiny
• Introduced and implemented the use of Tapestry to capture children’s learning and increase parental engagement

• Completed a variety of training courses. One of the most recent ones was How to create a dynamic reading curriculum

• Collaborated with the parent body to overhaul and refurbish our school library. The library is now a vibrant, welcoming place for children to read 
• Tracked data to identify any gaps in learning; using this information to suggest strategies and interventions to close these gaps
• Taught booster classes to Year 6 children about to embark on their KS2 SATs

• Planned and taught exciting and interesting lessons to engage children and ensure progress. I adapted lessons to ensure inclusion. For example, considering different learning styles when teaching
• Conducted formative and summative assessment. Whilst teaching in KS1 I conducted the Year 2 SATs. My classes always achieved well and received some of the highest results in the borough. I have also administrated Reception Baseline Assessments
