I'm a hard working and reliable person who's keen to find a job where these traits suit best. My experience working in busy environments like KFC and coaching in schools has taught me a lot about working fast and making sure everyone gets a good service. I'm very good at staying calm when things get hectic and I enjoy working as part of a team.
I'm looking for a place where I can use my unique skills to help a business run smoothly and make a real change. I'm a fast learner and I'm ready to be a part of a team.
Team Member at KFC, Lincoln, Teal Park (2024-09 – Present)
My main job was the burger and wrap station, which is fast-paced and needs a lot of focus. It wasn't just about making food; it's about being a reliable member of a bigger team and making sure every customer leaves happy. I accomplished consistent high-quality burgers and wraps by memorising and following assembly instructions for over 20 different products.
This resulted in a very low rate of incorrect orders from my station and maintained the brand's reputation for quality. I accomplished the ability to work effectively under high pressure by successfully managing the burger station alone during the busiest shifts, which we could see easily over 100 orders an hour. This resulted in us consistently hitting targets for service speed and ensuring customers weren't left waiting.
I saw a massive improvement in my multitasking skills by managing order screens, assembling multiple different items, and restocking my station during shifts. This resulted in smoother workflow, meaning I could complete orders without getting overwhelmed and without needing to ask for help as often.
Apprentice Multi-Sports Coach at Premier Education, Lincolnshire (2023-09 – 2024-02)
I had a brilliant opportunity to work as an apprentice coach in primary schools. It was big for me as it really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I was responsible for planning and teaching PE lessons to children of all primary ages, which was challenging and rewarding. It massively improved my confidence by independently planning and delivering PE lessons to classes of around 30 pupils.
This resulted in me becoming a more assertive and capable techie, comfortable with taking the lead and managing a group on my own. I accomplished the delivery of high-quality and fun PE lessons by adapting my communication style and lesson plans to suit different age classes, from 4-year-old reception pupils to 11-year-old Year 6s. This resulted in higher engagement from the children and positive feedback from the school teaching staff.
I accomplished development of strong organisational skills by planning entire sessions, which included sorting equipment, organising pupils into fair teams, and managing the time effectively. This resulted in my lessons running smoothly from start to finish, with less disruption and maximum activity time for the pupils. I gained the ability to stay on task and manage my own work by the measure of being given sole responsibility for classes in different schools each day.
This resulted in me becoming much more self-reliant and proving that I could be trusted to represent the company professionally and deliver the service required without constant supervision.
