Looking to obtain a new role within the offshore catering industry. I have 15 years' experience working offshore as a steward for 10 years and Chief Steward for the last 5 years
Chief Steward at Aramark (2021-09 – Present)
I started as a Chief Steward on board the Ninian South when I was promoted to steward after covering holidays and sick leave, I had gained enough experience and trust from management both from CNR and Aramark to take over the position when my predecessor retired. I have enjoyed working in this role ever since, my main roles include Bond, running and managing the accommodation and looking after the orders and stock for chemicals COSHH, Safety meetings and staff training. Sadly, this has now come to an end due to the decommissioning of the platform.
Steward at Aramark (2011-09 – 2021-09)
I worked as a steward covering all duties throughout the accommodation work, accommodation, laundry and galley for 10 years before being promoted to Chief Steward.
Marine Decking Specialist (1991 – 2011)
Served my apprenticeship after leaving school and worked around the world laying epoxy flooring, A60 decking and screeds on oil rigs and ships for 20 years.
