I am currently working as a toolmaker at Delta Precision Engineering and have passed an apprenticeship in Level 3 advanced machining. I have worked at Delta for 4 years and during these years have worked on various types of machines and developed skills in the workplace. I have worked for companies such as the Aston Martin Formula 1 Team, Nissan and NSK Bearings.
Delta is a sub-contract company and everyday and job is different, which has helped to improve my problem solving. Previously, I have also passed an apprenticeship in Level 2 sports coaching whilst being an apprentice footballer at Morecambe FC. I spent my spare time in Morecambe coaching the younger academy players.
During this time, I lived away from home with a host family, which helped me mature as a young person and become more independent.
