I currently am studying the LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology course at Abertay and have recently obtained my HNC in Business Management. I am looking for part time work in the Kirkcaldy and surrounding areas to supplement my studies and use my IT and analytical skills that I have learned during my studies into practice.

Volunteer Client Advisor - Citizens Advice Bureau

(2025-11)

• Interview clients (call or face-to-face) to gather information and explore available options
• Provide advice to clients and explain options to them to empower them to make their own decisions
• Highlight matters of social policy
• Provide clients with practical help, such as calculating benefits, filling out forms on the client's behalf, etc
• Record cases using CASTLE in accordance with the quality of advice and confidentiality procedures
• Basic office administration, e.g. scanning documents
• Attending local team meetings
• Internally refer clients to specialist advisors when appropriate, or refer to external resources if necessary
• Work as part of a team to obtain the best outcome for clients

Digital Marketing Volunteer - Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust

• Creating marketing materials e.g., Posters, flyers, Infographics
• Creating and managing social media platforms, e.g., Facebook, Instagram
• Communicating different information orally and in writing
• Using Microsoft Office and Canva to help create marketing materials
• Create a plan to help market and promote different events
• Serve refreshments during events
• Help the Set up for events
• Engaging with customers/visitors
