About

Having recently completed my studies as an accountancy and finance student at Heriot Watt University, it has allowed me to learn an abundance and grow as a person. During my studies challenges and obstacles presented themselves, however, I was resilient and used them to my advantage while finding a way to complete tasks. My approach to work is extremely flexible, where I am willing to adapt to different roles and positions.

This has been improved through my time spent at Nandos, where I had to learn each station, becoming skilled in administration support, staff training, and maintaining high standards through structured procedures. Customer service skills have been enhanced due to this with customer interactions holding a large importance. Tasks such as greeting customers and communicating with them to ensure their visit is enjoyable have benefited me working within a very fast-paced environment.

My self-discipline is something that I attribute to finishing my studies, as a lot of work had to be completed from home which was a different challenge. This trait appears in my personal life, where I would describe myself as a well-disciplined person in all aspects of life. Personally, I favour discipline over motivation as a performance tool due to discipline meaning I am willing to give my all irrespective.

Working as part of a team has been something I have developed over the past years with Nandos as the staff must work as a collective to ensure the restaurant runs efficiently. Also, several group projects throughout university enhanced these skills. These projects required a focus on IT applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and word further bettering my skills at these.

Timekeeping and punctuality are important to me so I ensure they are excellent. This helps me manage tasks efficiently while working within a team-based environment. I am also comfortable working with digital systems and supporting structured administrative processes in fast-paced environments.
