In this role I was responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and safe for service. My duties included deep cleaning fryers and all kitchenware, keeping floors clear of slip hazards, and ensuring the kitchen was properly reset for the next shift. I worked closely with kitchen staff and learned to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.

As a kitchen porter and food prep assistant, I helped with preparing desserts and basic ingredients before service. I also cleaned fryers, dishes, and work surfaces, and kept the kitchen floor clean and safe.
