I have worked shifts at a restaurant in Sedgefield, as a kitchen porter, which included washing and drying dishes, making sure things are in the right spot when putting them away, cleaning my and others working area. I helped the chefs out with little jobs such as peeling potatoes. I have worked there since the 20th of September and the reason i cannot work there any longer was travelling issues as I could not get there with it being so far.
What i have learned from this is to try my best to travel and/or get my family to help me out.
What benefits have I got from this: I have gotten to work with many people and have got to work as a team, to me this means helping when needed and coming together and making sure everything is done well. We all made sure everything was good for the customers and they had a good experience with us and were completely satisfied. I worked well with everyone and made sure to adjust myself to everyone I was with.
