I am currently a year 11 student studying in Wadebridge School. I am creative, punctual and efficient. I have high predicted GCSE grades and have excellent attendance.
I have a passionate interest in media analysis and have written many personal essays on the subject. It has helped me to develop my critical thinking and time management skills. I have excellent pattern spotting and problem-solving skills which allows me to overcome many challenges in my personal life and within my schoolwork.
In my free time I partake in the hobby of drawing, both in digital and traditional mediums. This has helped advance my creativeness and my analysis skills. Due to my experience with digital art mediums I am proficient in many bitmap editors such as Krita (animation and still illustration), photoshop and Medibang paint. I also have an interest in digital safety and computers, this means I have read many books and articles on the subjects. I am very computer literate and have sufficient IT skills.
One of my biggest achievements is becoming a finalist in the ‘big bang science competition’. Not only did my experience help me improve my planning, organisation and oral communication skills it also allowed to me learn more about science from professionals and peers in an interesting setting.
I have also worked a summer job working at the counter of a campsite convenience store, which taught me the importance of punctuality and resilience. I have also learnt problem solving and customer service skills from dealing with customers.
I have worked at a small convenience store from late June to late October 2021. In my job I had to handle hot food, manage the store front and take initiative to keep shelves stocked
I have nearly completed my GCSE's at Wadebridge School. I have also been awarded an ‘English Literature’ Qualification which I completed at grade 6.
