I am a multifaceted, versatile and diligent student who works well within a team. as well as individually. I demonstrate important qualities such as clear communication, excellent listening skills and I am also caring and thoughtful. My attention to detail allows me to work efficiently and to thoroughly maintain an extremely high standard of work in whatever I put my mind to.
Additionally, I have a very strong work ethic which encourages me to remain motivated and complete tasks on time and accurately.
Between 2022 to 2023, I worked at the Collection Cocktail and Wine Bar in Winslow. As part of my job, I greeted new and returning customers which helped to create relationships and customer loyalty. Additionally, I memorised over 30 drink items and any specials in order to give customer recommendations. I helped to maintain a clean working environment by wiping down surfaces, loading and unloading glasses, washing equipment and replenishing fresh ingredients.
Over the years, I have carried out voluntary work at the Florence Nightingale Charity Shop in Winslow, a local school near me and Their Finest Hour Project with Oxford University.
Project with Oxford University is a nationwide project which aims to preserve the historical importance of arguably one of the largest events in our history, World War Two. I played a role in planning this project, having attended relevant planning meetings as well as advertising the event in our local town hall. On the day of the event, I helped to coordinate other volunteers, interacting and welcoming guests, engaging with their stories and taking clear, focused images to record their memories with a smile.
I have just finished studying A Levels at Thornton College in subjects BTEC Diploma Forensics and Criminal Investigation, English Literature and EPQ with predicted grades of Distinction star, Distinction star, A and B. Also while at Thornton College, I studied a total of 10 GCSEs achieving all grades 7-9. After the summer, I will be studying law at University.
