I am in my final year of Adult nursing and have currently been on Warrington Intensive Care Unit for 4 months on my managerial placement. I have had a range of clinical placements during my nursing training including; GP practice, acute wards, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centre (Padgate House) and currently Intensive Care Unit. I am due to qualify mid-august and receive my NMC Pin shortly after.

Health Care Assistant at Orchard Care Homes (2023-08 – Present)

Whilst doing my nursing training at university, i have worked as a bank health care assistant at Three Bridges Nursing Home, Latchford Warrington on the EMI (Dementia Unit) for 3 years. I am very passionate about providing the best person-centred care to the residents that reside at the nursing home.

• I provide quality personal care, such as dressing and attending to all personal hygiene to the resisdents whilst keeping the upmost dignity.
• I support the residents' nutrition and hydration needs, ensuring they receive appropriate meals and offer assistance when needed.
• I also provide emotional support and companionship to the residents', enhancing their mental well-being and overall quality of life, especially supporting them with their Dementia diagnosis.

Activity Coordinator at Orchard Care Homes (2025-03 – 2026-04)

Whilst working at Three Bridges Nursing home, i also worked as an activities coordinator for 1 year. This job was mostly situated on the EMI (Dementia) Unit in the home aswell as the General Nursing side when covering sick leave.

• I provided engaging and fun activities for the residents at the home and evaluated the impact of activities on happiness, demonstrating commitment to enhancing quality of life.
• It was/ still is paramount to ensure the residents felt comfortable in their home whilst having access to fun and engaging activities where they could interact with their fellow friends and improve their confidence and interpersonal skills.
