I have worked in administrative roles over the last couple of years for an independent opticians, and was recently appointed secretary for the Anglo-Peruvian Society. My training and qualifications have given me the necessary administrative abilities and other relevant skills, including organisation, time keeping, reaching deadlines and interpersonal skills. I am a qualified therapist and have significant experience in client facing roles.
I am passionate about providing excellent service and support to all those I interact with.
I have worked as an administrative assistant and in customer facing roles, supporting clients and engaging with other colleagues to ensure excellent service is provided. I am currently involved in a placement with a well known charity in which I offer weekly counselling to clients. I am familiar with using a client database, following GDPR to ensure confidentiality and privacy.
I am proficient in using computer software, editing and organising files and scheduling emails. In my roles I am a driven learner, with a strong sense of initiative and am a considerate team worker.
My most recent qualification, a Level 5 Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling, has excellent transferable skills for a role within the administrative field and in working with customers. My Masters and Undergraduate studies in psychology have enabled me to develop excellent interpersonal skills, listening, empathy and problem solving. Meeting deadlines with assignments and self reflections supported my learning and gave me opportunities for personal development.
