I have some understanding of key areas of the Mental Capacity Act, including the importance of decision‑specific assessments and acting in the best interests of patients who may be experiencing cognitive deterioration. This position is one in which adapting to the daily care activity is essential in providing an optimum level of holistic care to the patients, families and careers attending for one of the many procedures. The role requires a full understanding of one's own and one's colleague's responsibilities in forging a multi-disciplinary team, where all skill sets integrate fully.
