I have been a carer for 13 years. I am a cheerful, friendly, and outgoing person who truly enjoys visiting my clients every day. I don't view this as just a job; rather, I see it as an opportunity to help people in their own homes while engaging in meaningful conversations.
If I can leave each day knowing I've brightened someone's life, then I feel fulfilled. I consistently go above and beyond in my caregiving role. Many of my clients have little or no family, so spending time with them is very important to me.
I treat them with the love, care, and respect that I would offer my own family. As a domiciliary carer, my goal is to help my clients maintain their independence while living at home. I always ask clients what they are capable of doing for themselves before offering assistance.
I'm passionate about staying active and health and fitness. I've trained weekly at the gym for years and recently earned my qualifications as a personal trainer. I also love walking, especially with my dog, and I have a great fondness for animals as well.
NVQ level 2 Adult and social care. Competent friendly outgoing and very active healthcare assistant. Has the ability to work in busy and high demand. Can work on my own initiative I am hardworking. I have a SVQ level 2 qualification in housekeeping and level 2 hospitality supervision.
