An experienced functional skills / learner support tutor, proficient in the delivery of Functional Skills to level 2, in Maths and English and ICT. Familiar with one-to-one and classroom delivery to small groups as well as remote delivery via Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Knowledgeable in the use of BKSB initial and diagnostic assessment platform and other similar platforms.
Experienced in working and providing learner support to learners with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism, and ADHD working towards an apprenticeship.
Passionate about providing people with support and encouragement, developing them to enhance their existing skills and setting stretching targets so that they achieve their full potential
17 years experience of working with apprentices in varying roles ranging from assessing to more recently functional skills and learner support roles
