Store Associate,
Main Duties: my main role is to take donations from customers and sort them out to either go on the shop floor or to send to other Barnardos stores. I also serve on the till, work on the computer e.g. check for volunteer applications, check emails, company updates etc. it is also my job to open and close the store when the manager has days off, and to cash up and declare banking at the end of the day.
B & M BARGAINS
January 2019 to February 2020
Main duties: I work on the tills serving customers and also dealing with complaints and returns. I also serve customers the lottery too. The job also includes cleaning duties.
April 2018 to January 2019
Main Duties: I Serve customers on the tills and help with enquiries. When the store is quieter, I also help with cleaning duties such as sweeping the floors and tidying the shelves.
May 2008 to March 2018
Main Duties-I serve our customers on the Pizza, Chicken & curry counters. I also complete relevant paperwork that is temperature records & safe & legal booklets. I also order the stock for all of the counters.
Music & video- I worked on the music and video department for a year, which gave me the opportunity to gain skills using the till, computers and promotional changes.
Stock control- I also worked on stock control for 5 months. My duties were to scan stock that had sold out and reorder. I was also responsible for date checking.
Chilled- I worked on the chilled department for a year where I restocked the shelves and helped with deliveries.
