Lisa has over 30 years' experience of working within the consulting engineering sector working across both the public and private sector. Lisa brings a wealth of sector knowledge and deep understanding of the Public Sector particularly the Local Authority & Local Transport markets particularly in support of the Northern Powerhouse initiative and has long established relationships at all levels with many of the key stakeholders including C Suite level. Atkins supported Warrington Borough Council in their bid to secure Levelling-Up Funding from HM Treasury for Health and Wellbeing improvements in both the North and South of the town.

Atkins supported Pembrokeshire County Council in their bid to secure Levelling-Up Funding from HM Treasury for connectivity and tourist improvements in town of Haverfordwest, in particular focusing on a new replacement 'Signature' Living Bridge.
Technical Reviewer - Powys County Council
Atkins was Successful in supporting Powys County Council in their Community Renewal Fund application for £500k to fund a pilot project to test the feasibility of introducing bespoke electric vehicles to service active travel routes across the local authority area with the aims of enhancing environmental conditions, enhancing the quality of place for local communities, businesses and visitors whilst also improving operational efficiency. This forms part of a wider Council strategy to reduce carbon emissions and further enhance the quality of the rural environment complementing the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Atkins were commissioned by Powys County Council (PCC) to support them with their Levelling Up Fund Submission Atkins supported Powys County Council's £13.3m bid to the UK Government's Levelling Up Fund (LUF). The LUF sets aside up to £4.8 billion to directly support communities across the UK, for capital investment in local infrastructure. The Fund prioritises places in need of economic recovery and growth, regeneration and improved transport connectivity.

Project Manager / Stakeholder Lead - Warrington Borough Council
Lisa was the project manager for this project which involved the facilitation of 4 thematic workshops to identify and sift projects to be put forward to MHCLG in Warrington Borough Councils Investment Plan and ultimately secure Town Deal funding. Effective engagement and communication with stakeholders is key to the success of this project to ensure a cohesive team with a clear focus and purposes is established to contribute and drive improved social value and economic growth within Warrington.
