I was a cook one in a secondary school. It's a fast paced environment where we prepare, cook, serve the children within our school. No two days are the same and we offer lots of different fresh options. We work along side the school staff to make sure we give the best customer service to the pupils, staff and visitors making sure everyone's dietary, allergen needs are met.

When I was a midday lunch time supervisor my role was to look after various year groups of children over the lunch time period.

• My role was varied and I helped to set up the lunch service, serve food to the children, clear down the hall after lunch service is finished.
• I also did playground duty where I helped to supervise the children at play, helped to set up games, give first aid if children hurt themselves, provide support when needed.
• I've also helped out in the wrap around care breakfast club. For the children who need extra childcare outside the normal school day. I helped to make breakfast and drinks, set up the hall with different areas for different activities for the children. Once breakfast club was over I would help to wash up and put everything away.
