Hi there , let me introduce myself , I 52 years old currently unemployed at the moment, ready to start working as soon as possible,I have had over 30 years of experience working and caring for children as well as young adults with various needs all along the spectrum.
I have always been pationate about the work that I do and being able to have the opportunity to be able to provide and give the best of my ability into people who may need some extra help and support, I have personal experience of providing this support as my son has asperger syndrome, and some direct family have adhd , bipolar autism and speech inpediment problems, due to hearing issues, I have the patience it requires to be supportive and understanding towards there challenges they may face in life with additional needs, also have a first aid certificate and 3 nvqs ,1 at level 2 and 2 at level 3, I've always worked in the caring field , I was last employed by St helier hospital driving dialysis patients to and from various centres around London which also meant monitoring there vitals and personal help to there condition, i have been in auxiliary nursing, i currently help look after my dad's wife who is bedbound , I've cared for people who are on the spectrum that need that extra support, i understand the challenges of caring for sen children , and how to deal with meltdowns, overwhelming situations, it requires patients and guidance, also I'm enthusiastic about learning new skills and feel I could make a difference to your team in coombe boys.
