I’ve been working in the construction industry for the last 21 years, the last 9 and half years in Oil and Gas and the last 6 months in the Aberdeen office building Construction WPKs for offshore.
Time served industrial pipe fitter/instrument pipe fitter with Oil and Gas (Offshore & Onshore), Petrochemical,Pharmaceutical and Construction site experience. Lots of experience in supervisory roles and more recently building Construction Workpacks.
Worked with a vast range of materials from, carbon steel, various grades of stainless steel (Duplex & Super Duplex), galvanised and copper, as well as different types of valves and fittings such as welded (Butt, Socket etc..), screwed, flanged(Bolted), grooved (Victaulic), clamps (Grayloc, Techlok) twin ferrule (Swagelok, Parker etc..) compression, crimped and brazed.
Also worked on the installation of many types of systems such as, compressed air, steam, firefighting, sea water, fuel lines, hydraulic, oil, gas, geothermal and hot and cold storage systems to name a few.
Constantly working with a high regard for health and safety, under a permit to work system and always taking pride in my installation work.
