I am an avid communicator, whether it is with my colleagues or with the customers. I have a vast knowledge of all road and traffic regulations and I adhere to all the health and safety requirements of driving. I combine my driving strengths with my organisational skillset.

Customer Delivery Driver at ASDA (2022-11 – Present)

This job involves driving a 3.5 tonne van to transport shopping to and from the depot to both business and customer houses.

• I would be performing vehicle checks before and after my deliveries. These checks include tyre checks, oil level, water levels, washer levels and any overall damage to vehicle. I would have to assess if the vehicle is road worthy and communicate with my line manager.
• I have to ensure all the items are on the van after loading. This would include matching the order numbers with the manifest and communicating with my manager if anything is missing.
• I would have to be in charge of cleaning the vehicle after the route this would involve hosing down the tires if muddy and removing all information relating the customer and disposing of it properly.
• I was in charge of planning and directing routes to guarantee the shopping is delivering in a timely and secure manner.
• I would have to drive the vehicles during unsociable hours, heavy traffic and poor weather conditions. I would be reporting any delays to the customers and depot.
• Communicating with customers if they have an issue. This would involve refunding items that the customer would deem unsatisfactory.
• Training new members of staff and to show them how to deliver in regards to ASDA's high standard of customer service.

Courier at Amazon (2021-01 – 2022-11)

This role is the same as ASDA but with a better focus on Multi Drop and time management. While vastly similar to being a Customer Delivery Driver at ASDA, working at Amazon gave me a different type of delivery driver skillset.

• A higher focus on time management, as there would be 300~ packages per day in 8 hours. I would have to plan my own route at times and go against the pre-loaded Amazon route.
• A higher focus on driving under stress. We would be hounded by the DSP for not meeting their unachievable expectations.
• This is more of a multi-drop delivery role and has given me knowledge of how to load a van in a manner that would decrease time looking for the correct package.

Delivery Driver/CSR at Domino's Pizza (2016-08 – 2021-01)

This job has shown me the basics of delivering; while not as intensive as Amazon or ASDA it gave me the building blocks on how to be an effective delivery driver. I would however be a Customer Service Representative. This would give me the early knowledge on how to effectively communicate with customers, be it in a positive or negative way.
