Im currently working part time as a squirrel ranger for Knowsley safari park.
My experience combines hands‑on animal care and customer‑facing roles. I volunteered as a Zookeeper at Reaseheath Mini Zoo and Caerphilly Playmeadows Petting Zoo, developing skills in husbandry, welfare monitoring, enrichment, visitor education, and record‑keeping across a wide range of species. I also volunteered in dog grooming.
Alongside this, I worked for over four years as a waitress and bartender, plus roles at Sainsbury’s and a hair salon — building strong communication, teamwork, time management, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, always adhering to strict health and safety standards.
I hold a BSc (Hons) Degree in Zoo Management from Reaseheath University (2024–2025), graduating with a 2:1 overall and achieving a First Class grade for my final dissertation. Prior to this, I completed a FdSc Zoo Management degree at Reaseheath University (2023–2024), awarded with an overall Distinction. I also hold a Level 3 Animal Management Advanced Extended Technical Diploma from Bridgend College (2020–2022), where I earned a profile of Distinction, Distinction, Merit.
My earlier education includes 11 GCSEs at Y Pant Comprehensive School (2013–2018), with grades ranging from C to B across English, Mathematics, Science, Art, and the Welsh Baccalaureate, alongside additional qualifications including a Level 2 Theatrical Hair & Media Makeup diploma, Level 2 Employability Skills, and a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
