I care deeply about animals and hope to build a future in the field. I help people in my village by walking dogs and looking after pets when they are away. I have also volunteered at a pet hotel and gained experience at a groomers and Apple Cast Farm. I have worked in a Dog Kennels since April 2026 and I really enjoy it, however I weren't given enough hours and am looking for permanent shifts. I achieved a Merit in Level 3 animal management (540).

Kitchen Porter at Wayferer, Parbold (2023-08 – 2024-02)

This role was my first step into working with people and supporting a team. I learned how to manage my time well, stay focused on details, and strengthened my ability to prioritise. It showed me the value of taking pride in every job.

• Follow health and safety guidelines to the highest standards.

Front of House (Weddings) at Carringtons Catering, Roby Mill (2024-07 – 2024-11)

This role was very hands-on and involved constant communication. It helped me learn how to approach customers and work smoothly with many people in a fast-moving wedding catering setting. It strengthened my hospitality skills.

This job provided me with more than one scenery as we catered for different venues, allowing me to use my skills in a variety of settings. This helped with adapting my roles, there was never just one job to do for example. I served canapes outside once the couple were married, I helped serve starters, mains and desserts.

After the main courses I served tea and coffee.

Dog walking and pet sitting services at Self-employed (2025-06 – Present)

I set this up myself for family and friends to help me gain knowledge and experience with dogs and other animals.

• I walk dogs occasionally different days in the week for half an hour or an hour.
• I do pet sits sometimes for dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals, helping with feeding and cleaning.
• I also do pet visits to do feeds.

Kennel Assistant at Chips Farm (2026-04 – 2026-09)

• Observe groomers when grooming and have helped bathe dogs.
• Prep and hand out feeds for dogs.
• Clean kennels and other areas.
• Monitor and record the health and behaviour of animals and report any concerns
• Keep on top of washing bedding and towels.
• Assist with the administration of medications.
• Take pictures of day care and boarding dogs.
• Take day care onto field.

Farm Animal Care Assistant at Apple Cast (2025-09 – 2026-05)

• Assist with cleaning and mucking out a variety of animals.
• Feed and refill waters for all animals.
• Day-to-day husbandry.
