Lola Dorman

Hi, I am an 18 year old student who is currently about to start a foundation year in University. I have had previous experience of 3 years in the world of retail and hospitality. I have gained many skills from my various jobs such as communication, time management, customer service and listening. I am studying Art & Design which is what I am passionate about. I could spend hours drawing and painting!

I am currently working at a restaurant named Kamakura Sushi and Ramen, which I have been working at since April 2023. My experience at Kamakura has gave me multiple skills such as working as a waitress / bar staff. I have also worked previously at Next UK where I was employed from April 2022 to April 2023.

I had learned customer service and time management skills due to always being aware of tasks and helping fellow customers around the store. For a small amount of time, I had been employed at Card Factory as a temporary seasonal staff. This job was my first, and allowed me to work to my full potential in helping customers and working with a team around me, especially during the Christmas period.

I have 8 GCSE’s and I have just recently completed my A Level‘s at Lagan College. I studied Art & Design and Double Award Business Studies, in which I received an AAB. I am about to go on to University in September to study Art & Design Foundation Year at Ulster University.
