Worked at Superdrug in Longwell Green, Gallagher Retail Park as a seasonal sales assistant but that was only seasonal and they don't have any extra hours for any staff at the moment meaning they couldn't keep me on. I have gained experience in retail and knowledge of the importance of sales from working at Superdrug. I worked throughout the christmas period and at times it got extremely busy.
This meant that it was important for me to stay calm under pressure and help put where ever I was needed. These standards were met because me and my employees made sure every customer left with a smile on their faces.

Weekend Sales Assistant at The Entertainer (2026-01 – Present)
At the Bath Entertainer Store, I work on the weekends both Saturdays and Sundays, and also including most Fridays whenever I am needed. I serve behind the tills where I take card and cash payments from customers and persuade them to purchase any of our deals we may have that they are unaware of. With some products, they need demonstrating in order to persuade the customer to purchase them, which is presented by me and I interact with customers whilst doing this to help them get a better understanding of the product and why they should buy it.
I also do pricing where there I will put shelf labels on the shelves to show how much an item costs. I restock the shelves where there may be any missing gaps. At the end of each shift, me and my colleagues face up the shelves to make the store neat and tidy, we hoover the carpet, sweep the shop floor and warehouse, and we mop the floor.
