• Processing customer service requests, processing transport documentation including Route Sheets, Vehicle Check Documents, Customer returns, Customer delivery notes along with stickers for Barrels when needed.
• Liaising with drivers and customers using all forms of communication (telephone, e-mail) this includes making drivers aware of any last minute changes advising customers of service issues or making amendments to delivery day or times.
• Logging defect reports, liaising with the maintenance department and maintenance contractors (e.g. tyre contractors) to ensure vehicle availability at all times
• Sending orders from Dips system to Aurora, producing pick notes, confirming all orders for next day delivery and printing all invoices at the end of the shift.
• Debrief drivers after their shift then brief them for the next day.
• Update risk Assessment spread sheets, Dips data sheets (e.g. Draymen's daily hours, tonnage, distances travelled.)
• Working closely with the Transport Supervisor for advice and guidance on operational matters.
