I have a broad base of clinical experience but am currently working as a functional assessor in disability assessment medicine, carrying out work capability assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions and have been in this role for 18 months.
I am keen to move into Aesthetic Medicine and plan to attend a Foundation Course with Acquisition Aesthetics in July 2024, with a view to completing the Level 7 Diploma thereafter. I communicate well with patients, work well as part of a team and enjoy learning and a new challenge.
I have worked in a variety of specialties over the last 9 years since graduating, including 3 years of GP training (out of programme and planning to return to this part-time at a later date). This includes A&E, General Medicine, Surgery, General Practice, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Ear, Nose & Throat, and Hospital at Home. I have worked in the UK and New Zealand in this time.
