General Factory Operative - Offsite Solutions, Highbridge (via Abatec) - Highbridge

I would build and fit out bathroom pods which involved measuring and cutting wood and plaster-board, using power tools and working closely as part of a four-person team in order for us hit our target of six pods per day. My contract was ended due to a fire at the site where the pods were made with all agency contracts then terminated.

I was mainly on checkouts during my shifts, but I was also trained on Self-Serve where I covered the late shift and would lock the store after closing, I also occasionally stacked shelves. This was a part-time position (16 hours per week) and on finishing college I was very keen to increase my hours to full-time. However, the branch I worked at did not offer full-time positions. As and when available I worked extra shifts to increase my hours.

Cleaned caravans to set company standards ensuring Covid guidelines were adhered to, undertook housekeeping duties including ensuring bedding was placed in all caravans, cleaned communal areas i.e. laundry room and toilets. These duties were undertaken as part of a team of two and we would be allocated a cleaning schedule that had to be met to a set deadline, enabling the new occupants to be able to check-in to their caravan on time.
