Louise Chan

I am a Science teacher that Is seeking a career change into data analytics. As part of this journey, I am currently looking to gain experience in a data focused job. In my current role, I have become an advanced user of Microsoft Excel to analyse and visualise data.

I have created question level analysis projects using excel to input student data from summative assessments and create detailed personalised reports for students, which have included class statistics for the student to use to aid their independent revision. I have then used this document as a tool to analyse trends in student misconceptions and tailored lessons to fill in the gaps of knowledge.

Currently I am enrolled in a course with code academy studying SQL and python fundamentals and additional units to build on my current knowledge with Microsoft excel. I have a fond interest in data and understand the importance of data analysis within a business to forecast future work. I am very keen to learn more and will use my strong work ethic, efficiency, and dedication to achieve this.
