My name is Louise Jardine I’m 19 years old and from a beef and sheep farm just outside Lockerbie. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and like going on dog walks with my collie pup glen when I’m not working.
I’m self employed and at home we have 500 sheep and 200 Aberdeen Angus suckler cows. I have experience in lambing indoor and outdoor systems specifically breeds like grey face mules, texels and blackies this work also includes dosing attending to foot problems jagging, general maintenance. I cart silage for Doug brown contracting from may till September and have experience in different tractor work like raking, spreading slurry, rolling, topping etc.
I’ve Also experience in calf rearing and milking.
BSC agriculture degree studied at the barony college.
