Trainee Fabricator/Welder - Suttons agriculture - Frodsham

Working at this company I had many responsibilities such as, measuring and cutting materials like steel, aluminium, galvanised steel. Making panels for vehicles that needed welding work to pass MOT's. Centre punching and drilling steel plates to be welded onto steel work for structural buildings such as sheds and industrial buildings.
In my time at this company I also got taught the basics of mig welding and a little bit of tig welding resulting in me being able to tac things up and put down small runs of weld (3-6 inches). Working on tractors and other agricultural equipment doing things like servicing and other maintenance jobs that have been required to ensure the equipment is suitable to get back to the full potential the customer requires. I have really enjoyed the role at this company as it has enabled me to learn new skills.
After roofing for the majority of my career I felt it was time for a change and wanted to get out of the trades
