Seeking new role in hairdressing salon

My name is Lucy, 34, currently in the hospitality/retail sector but looking to gain new skills in a hairdressing salon as a junior because I am hoping to pursue a hairdressing course in either college or a local Hair and Beauty Academy.
My professional experience has been within hospitality for the past 16 years in Front of House roles including training new team members and conducting interviews and supervising service. Professionally speaking, I think now is the time for a transition where I can adapt my people skills and hard working ethics into a salon environment.
I have both an HNC in Beauty Therapy and an HND in Hospitality. Both have provided me with excellent opportunities to work individually as well as part of a team. Both aspects have helped me grow as a person and gain more confidence, particularly when coping with challenging scenarios.
