I am a skilled and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner with a level 3 qualification in Early Years.
I have over 10 years experience of working in various early years settings in Swindon.
I find working and helping children achieve is very rewarding.
I am flexible in helping out in different work areas and willing to change contracted days and/or hours to cover staff shortages.
I am able to provide a happy, stimulating, safe and secure environment for children.
I have the necessary skills to make children in early years settings feel welcome and happy.
I have an excellent knowledge of Behaviour Management when working with young children in Early Years settings.
I have worked with children on a one-to-one basis at various settings to help the children be happy, safe and to maximise their potential.
I have experience of working on a one-to-one basis with a child at lunchtime to encourage safe play, which resulted in a marked improvement in their behaviour.
I have a good understanding of Pre-School Policies and Procedures having covered this in my various courses. For example; Child protection, Health And Safety, Food and Drink, Risk Assessment, First Aid, Administering Medicine, Safeguarding Children, Fire Safety and Emergencies.
I have had positive comments from Managers in various settings saying the team has really enjoyed having me as part of a team.
In every early years settings I have worked at, I have made sure I always follow the safeguarding policy in schools and nurseries to ensure the welfare and safety of children.
