Housekeeper/Cleaner at Priory Court Nursing Home (2020-06 – 2022-11)

My responsibilities included communicating with elderly residents on the dementia ward in a respectful and supportive manner while adhering to PPE and infection control procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic. I maintained high standards of cleanliness by regularly cleaning residents rooms and communal areas in accordance with COSHH guidelines. I was also responsible for residents' laundry, ensuring clothing and bedding were washed and ironed to a high standard.

In addition, I supported care staff where required, including preparing hot drinks for residents to help maintain their comfort and wellbeing.

Factory Worker at Bakkavor (2019-10 – 2020-06)

While working in the factory, I was responsible for a range of production tasks. Including accurately measuring and adding additional ingredients to yoghurts. I also assisted in dessert preparation by placing greaseproof paper onto trays and ensuring production ran efficiently. I had to ensure I kept pace with the machinery when adding foil trays and pastry for pies and other products.

My responsibilities included operating the checkout, greeting and serving customers, handling cash transactions, and providing efficient customer service. Ensuring the customer's experience was the best it could be. I was also responsible for replenishing shelves, monitoring inventory and stock levels to ensure product availability and assisting with stock rotation. In addition, I supported in-store merchandising by rearranging shelves and displays for promotional products.

Multi skilled. My responsibilities included replenishing shelves to a high standard, assisting in the in-store bakery and operating the tills. Whilst providing efficient customer service and handling cash transactions accurately.

I also supported with receiving and organising deliveries. I had similar responsibilities as a team leader as I was responsible for supervising staff, opening and closing the shop, handling telephone enquiries and ensuring shelves were fully stocked. Additionally, I helped maintain store standards by organising displays and supported in-store promotional activity by highlighting and merchandising products ahead of upcoming offers.
