I am a Registered Professional Natural Scientist (Pr.Sci.Nat.) with more than 23 years of progressive experience across the mining industry, having built my career with globally recognised organisations including De Beers, Rio Tinto Exploration, Anglo Platinum, Ivanhoe Mines and Lonmin Platinum (now Sibanye-Stillwater) before establishing my own geological consulting and mining project development business through Kenarn MTP Group.

Throughout my career, I have been privileged to work across the full mining value chain—from regional greenfields exploration and resource development to production geology, grade control, technical services, contract mining and mining project development. This diverse experience has enabled me to contribute to projects ranging from early-stage exploration through to operating mines, while leading multidisciplinary technical teams and supporting strategic business decisions.

My technical expertise includes exploration management, production geology, geological modelling, grade control, resource evaluation, mine planning support, drilling programme management, technical due diligence, contractor management and project development. I have worked across a broad range of commodities including platinum group metals, chrome, gold, coal, diamonds, copper, nickel, iron ore, vanadium and industrial minerals in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Beyond my technical capabilities, I enjoy building relationships, mentoring professionals and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams comprising geologists, mining engineers, surveyors, rock engineers, environmental specialists, contractors and executive leadership. My career has provided opportunities to lead complex technical projects, manage operational budgets, support investment evaluations and develop practical solutions that create value for mining operations and project stakeholders.
