Classic Motor Yacht Espiritu Santo - 35m - Deckhand
10th - 20th May
4th -14th June
Line throwing and setting fenders upon arriving at berth.
Chemical treatment of complete teak deck.
Full Wash down of vessel and tenders.
Assisted Chief Engineer in engine room, changing oil filters, changing water maker filters.
Made pipework alterations and problem solving.
Helped moved yacht from marina to fuel dock, was part of the refilling team then we fully bunkered the boat.
I was part of crew making 350 nautical mile voyage from La Spezia to
Napoli.
On trip to Napoli, anchoring manoeuvres and anchor watches over 2
nights.
Navigation bridge / watches with officers and captain throughout seagoing period of voyage.
Line throwing and setting fenders upon arriving at berth.
Made modifications to the gangway using fitting techniques.
Removed paint, sanded and repainted air compressor.
Uncovered Tenders, completed full wash down and polished stainless.
Sea trial for 1 hour, preparing lines for arrival back at port.
Launched tender and washed down the hull.
