Highly motivated and results-oriented Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician with over 8 years of proven experience in a fast-paced environment. Possessing a strong foundation in mechanical fundamentals, including forces, motion, energy transfer, and the properties of materials. Proven ability to proficiently assemble, install, maintain, and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment within process machinery and processes.

Multi-skilled Maintenance: Proven ability to effectively maintain and repair a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Proficient in fault finding, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance across multiple disciplines.
Expert in assembling and fitting mechanical components for bespoke process equipment (vacuum pumps, rotary equipment, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, valves, motors, etc.). Proven ability to install complex machinery at client sites, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
Possess a strong understanding of gears, belts, chains, and other power transmission mechanisms.
Hydraulics & Pneumatics: In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including the operation of valves, cylinders, pumps, and the principles of fluid power.
Proficient in basic electrical principles, including voltage, current, resistance, and electrical safety.
Experience in electrical wiring, fault finding, and the use of electrical measuring instruments (multimeters, voltmeters, clamp meters).
Experience in the maintenance of electric motors, including continuity, resistance and earthed as well as bearing, seal and component replacement.
Proficient in the inspection and testing of electrical components such as relays, contactors, capacitors, resistors and circuit breakers.
Experience working with control panels, including fault finding, component replacement, with an understanding of PLC programs.
Maintenance & Repair: Extensive experience in maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment, utilizing hand and power tools with precise tolerances.
Experience with lathes and milling machines that further enhances my capabilities. Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems using various techniques.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in reading and interpreting complex assembly and installation drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Possess an understanding of CMMS and a willingness to learn more about PLC and SCADA systems.
Safety: Adherence to all relevant safety regulations and procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and safe working practices.
