I have worked in the plumbing and heating industry for over 18 years, beginning my career immediately after completing sixth form at Poole High School. I undertook a two-year apprenticeship through Poole College, attending one day per week while gaining hands-on experience on a MOD site under the guidance of experienced tradespeople. After completing my apprenticeship, I joined a family-run business where I spent four years developing my expertise across all aspects of plumbing, heating, and gas work.

In the summer of 2014, I achieved my Gas Safety certifications, which enabled me to take the next step in my career and move into self-employment. As a self-employed subcontractor working with DMA Property Solutions, I further broadened my experience. Given the company's involvement in all aspects of building work, I developed additional skills in carpentry, tiling, minor electrical work, bricklaying, and general construction tasks.

This diverse experience has strengthened my versatility and understanding of wider building processes. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, I transitioned into full-time employment in January 2021 with Joy Services as a Domestic Gas and Plumbing Engineer. In January 2025, I returned to DMA Property Solutions as a Senior Gas Engineer, this time as a full-time employee, continuing to grow within the trade.

My core expertise lies in domestic plumbing, heating, and gas work. I pride myself on delivering high-quality workmanship, maintaining strong attention to detail, and approaching every task with professionalism and dedication. I am confident in my ability to take on new challenges and consistently deliver work to the highest standard.

Through close collaboration with the maintenance team, I gained a strong understanding of how multiple trades work together and developed a broad range of practical skills across different disciplines.
