Luke Hill

I'm passionate about learning new skills and I'm a very hands on worker. I'll work to the best of my abilities and I pick things up quickly.

My first job was working in a scaffolding supplies yard, Generation UK, I was loading and unloading lorries, picking and packing orders and maintaining the workspace. My second and most recent job was working in a factory for a quarry, Calder Masonry, here I started out labouring on the production line before going onto stone dressing, using a hammer and chisel to complete custom orders for customers. After that I learned how to use heavy machinery like stone cutting saws and alternated between dressing and sawing.

I've driven FLT throughout my time at both jobs and have passed the in house exams.

I went to the Leeds College of Building where I passed my multi skills course so I could understand the fundementals of different trades such as bricklaying, plastering, tiling, etc. and I went on to learn tiling the next year before I went to get my first job.
