As part of the electrical team I was focused on the development and improvement of new and existing machine code. This varied from creating new solutions specific to client specs to updating and adapting existing code to fit newer hardware.

• Machine testing: Being machine code I spent a fair amount testing and calibrating user inputs and machine behavior.

Graduate Programmer - Glusoft Ltd - Derby

At Glusoft, I worked in a small team on the development of software for a number of clients. This includes client and server side web applications and mobile apps.

• Android Studio: I worked primarily on the development of Android applications, both new and existing as well as server side functionality.
• Project management: Being a small team, I am to manage, check and maintain projects I am responsible for, developing a sense of autonomy.

Software Developer - Exel Computer Systems - Long Eaton

My duties in this position were to implement new features and fix existing ones dictated via the team bulletin board. This included client-side and server-side applications, as well as user interface designs.

• Teamwork: Being in a small team I became accustomed to working in a tight knit group, being able to get and provide support for other team members.
• Responsibility: As each task would be undertaken by a single member of the team, I was solely responsible for the development of said chosen features.
• Initiative: Amidst managing a set of databases, I took to developing a program to read and write multiple files to streamline the process.

Student Ambassador - Nottingham Trent University

My duties at the NTU were to support other students both inside and outside class as well as represent the University during open days.

• Communication: I have been able to relate to new students and help them with general problems.
• Management: Working alongside other ambassadors I am always prepared to assist in covering another's shift, while keeping track of my own.

Voluntary staff - National Videogame Arcade

(2014-11 - 2015-11)

During Gamecity it was my general task to interact with the public and help/encourage them to join in the event.

• Customer Service: I found myself welcoming newcomers, informing them of current events and encouraging them to play a few games.
• Games testing: I also got to play a number of games in development, allowing me to test for bugs and inform the developer of them. Gaining a keen eye for detail and a practice for quality assurance.
